Mel Gibson is attempting a dramatic image rehab as he promotes his new thriller ‘The Edge of Darkness,’ but he’s not pretending to be a huge fan of President Obama.

“[Obama] is a man with an impossible task on his hands,” Gibson told Fox News’ Pop Tarts at the movie’s LA premiere. “He got left a mess and I wish him all the best but I don’t think he’s going to fix it in five minutes and probably not in his entire tenure.”
